Dressed in white armor
Fighting the Foe below.
With swords raised as one
We sound our battle-cry.

We shout again
We the thirteen
As we fight the hundred.

We shout as we prepare to die
Not without a fight
With backs to one another,
We for our circle
Completely surrounded.

Many foes we slew that day,
Till at last we all fell.
But we sent the enemy packing.

Is there a particular battle or scene that inspired you to write this? It strikes me a famillier from a scene in an old opera I heard.

well i dont know how to spell the battle, but it is the one that the Spartans are famous for....i think this is the correct spelling Thermopolae, or something like it

Ahh, yeah tough spelling. I was thinking of the battle from the opera Kitezh, but Thermopylae (looked up the spelling for it) makes sense too.
