Yes, she is a pipsqueak, one who solves the crimes herself, trails the badguys, gets into and out of danger, and is quite competent. A true kid adventure heroine. Sorry you don't like her, but she was what made the show for me, with Gadget himself a relatively close second. And of course, Dr. Claw was cool.
