I just read DeathNote vol. 7 and now I really want Raito to go down.
I never cared much about him, but now I just want to see him defeated, begging for mercy and meaning it. Dx
I still love him paired up with L though. Dammit. Thatβs what I get for reading all the doujinshi BEFORE the original manga. I thought Raito was just a random cutie. I never thought heβd be such a cold blooded b**tard.
Yay me for finding out after seven volumes.
For this painting, I tried out a few things from kidchan's watercolor tutorial for Photoshop. Go check it out, it's really easy and useful.

This is a gorgeous piece of work. I love L and Light's expressions to pieces, especially Light's though. The blood is especially nice looking against the tiled floor

Lol I hated him until the pairing came up for me...then I felt that they could never be since the Kira thing :/ So then I began to like him more, but only with L really.

Yeah, L is the only reason to tolerate Light... I've always shipped them, because I read dojinshi before reading DN. And they're just too good as partners, so different but on equal levels... it would be so great if they were on the same side and worked together...

I never really liked Raito, he would always think and think and think and I would just never have the time or attention span to read all of his thoughts. D: I just want to punch him in the face and scream, "SHUT THE HELL UP!"
He may be the main character, but L has more fangirls...and I can see why! He's just so AWESOME!
