I love this texture. It looks like a seascape with birds and rocks. Love it.

Heh. You know, funny thing 'bout this. From the smaller pic - ya know, the icon: it looked like a grey-scale picture of the sea and a flock of seagulls flying... but now, upon close inspection: wow. Talk about seeing things that only you can see... Is that a little crazy? Or do I just have a wild imagination. I rather like the sound of both, actually....

basically like looking at clouds or a rorschach test...it's up to the imagination of the beholder. i intend to create the impression of landscapes into some of my recent textures, you can just sink into this. i love looking at waves to, i guess the same thing.
one thing that was really important, when i decided to improve my skills in drawing was to not draw it dead, to leave free space, so it can "breathe". i think, ~16 years after this hint i'm still trying to improve on it.

With the dedication to continuously improve; comes the long expedition of mastering yourself and your skills, step by step - for there is always something new to find and learn.
And with the ability to see things unseen; you can mold and shape a part of your own world - for all others to see.
-_- No idea where that came from, actually. First thing that popped in my head.
And I think I know what you mean, but not leaving it 'dead' and allowing it free space to 'breathe'. An image locked inside a cage, cannot be as fully appreciated as the picture able to fly.

'about' not, but not leaving it dead...

Neat. Textures like these can make for great backgrounds in some types of books.

Wasn't really going to bring that up. I don't throw stones in glass houses. I'm a horrible artist, but I do enjoy looking at all kinds of art. As far as his art, if he improves, then great. But I would appreciate it if he would not throw around such callous comments. I wouldn't even want a veteran artist to do that sort of thing. In my opinion, it's not only callous and unnecessary, it's immature, and it also only brings up strife when there is no need for any in the first place. Better to live in peace and enjoy one's works in this life we are given by God, than to throw stones at one another and why we come out feeling bruised and battered at the end.

you're right, he's spreading hate with this, nothing else. and in some points i understand him, basically he was right.
i take photos from walls, no big deal. on the other hand he has not heard of textures i guess, so i dont blame him.
i do draw stuff, like this [link] and having a look at his gallery he is definitely not as mature as my little brother. i mean, drawing plain crashes in ms paint, craving for attention, trying to offend.
anyway, thank you for your support
