GAH, I completely left art the part where I tell you that I liked the image!

The pose of the character as well as the bg looks nice!
The rendering of the foot-paws and the ears are definately beyond my own level. ( X.x That's proof I'm not drawing them enough )
O.o I just realized that the way of rendering BG for this is quite stylistic and clean in consept! If the character had a drop shadow over what's behind her, it'd seem like she was being photograpghed infront of quite an interesting set-up. Much appluade on that. ^_^

I see you're getting much better!

I had an idea, but I think it'd be easier for me to draw it out than to write it all in text. (considering I've just formatted recently, you'll have to wait until I gut my scanner drivers installed before you can see it.)It's mainly about how the legs appear to be jutting out in this particular image rather than attached.

In [link] (old guideline style for me) the entire torso is determined by two circles. By chooing a position half inside of the internal guiding sphere, you get an illusion that the sphere is attached and is a part of that shape (unless you were to render a crease there, and make it look sorta cut-into. X.x ) From that circle half inside he other, I'd make the guidenines for the rest of the legs and such. I hope I got the idea, but I son't feel very convienceing... Let my try to explain that with a more recent example...

[link] design uses 3 spheres in the cental body (one deformed to determine chest shape and position. the second for the central torso, and the last for hip placement and mechanics. From there, I created a shape resembling that of underwear to help with the positioning for the calves and the rest of the legs. )

X.x I didn't seem conviencing at all, and I'm speaking in bits and pieces here.
Just keep referencing other pics when you need help, but try not to make a direct copy of it. (as that's frowned upon) Reference is good for seeing how things are rendered in RL or for seeing a way that a particular artist has of rendering it.

I'm glad to be of use! ^_^
(If things go as I think they are, it won't be long before you reach a point where giving the advice is much more difficult for the viewers as they'll need to look deeper into the artwork to find anything to point out. I've had it happen before.

Of course, they'll probably also be a time where you're never satisfied with what you produce... and then you work like crazy to make something you like, but you can't. So then you give up on making it look good and make something just to be fun, and then you turn out to like it a lot. O.o
Or that could just be me. )

Aww! Thank you so much! Bongo looks so Sexay! And yes, your anatomy has gotten better. You just continue to improve. I really like her ears and her cute little expression, like she just saw a really cute Husky stroll by and is trying super hard to look cool and get noticed. Thanks a lot and the wait was worth it!
