Ive always liked that phrase despite not being a fan of Squall. x-X Anyways, wow, This pic was sketched last night and made it to color the next day, a record O_O There are some piccies I have that wait weeks for color! But yeah, I really, REALLY like how this piccy of Leona turned out, and well, I just wnated a really spiffy ref piccy for her.

OH! For added kicks, I even worked on a detailed bio for the gal:

DESCRIPTION
Age: Looks to be around 21, is actually far older than that however. Exact age, like her sibs, isnt known.
Eyes: A vivid golden in hue
Hair: Brown, and wild as can be. A truly untamable mane, it usually reaches to just right above her shoulders but is soemtimes seen midback in length as well. (Usually when shes been travelling for awhile )
Height: 5'3" (Shes kinda short > >
Build: Thin, agile... and kinda busty ><:;;
Accessories: These are important because they never change and are never taken off no matter which form shes in
1) A bracer over her right upperarm, its golden in color and has a bright orange stone embedded into the middle of it. That stone has the leo symbol engraved within and seems to glow faintly. Around that stone are the otehr zodiac symbols... as well as the added serpentarious one.
2) A gold wedding ring rests on her ring finger on the right, simple golden band
3) On her left lower arm is a golden chain that encircles three times to form a bracelet of sorts. Hanging from these chains is a small tag with the zodiac symbol for Libra etched into it.
Clothing: Leona is usually seen in pretty barely there outfits! *Laughs* Her default outfit is one that consists of a short pair of "daisy dukes" style olive green shorts, folded at the legs. She wera almost knee high brown leather boots, that have green lace up ties all the way to the top and green treads. Shirts she usually wears a white tube top, sometimes with a stylized lion across the front of it.

Personality: Leona is a free spirit. Highly energetic, its almost cantagious how much energy she has! Kind to all, she greets people with toothy smile and a big ol HI! Shes known when feeling down or sad to keep it to herself, and those she holds close have a friend for LIFE.

ABILITIES

Powers:
1) Sliding: This power is basicly the power to slide between worlds at will. However, it has been shorted out for quite some time and might never work again...
2) Leo: Leona's stone gives her the ability to basicly become any kind of feline she wishes at will. A process that in the beginning of her training very long ago was slow and slightly painful, she can do it now in the weak of an eye effortlessly now. Problem is, being in different worlds, the stone like her sliding powers, has been sporadic. But she has yet to try in this world and if Lea's stone worked then perhaps maybe...
3) Scent: All of Eris's children were gifted with better than human senses, but Leona was specially created with her nose in mind. She can sniff ANYONE out, no matter if they are miles away, or even stones. If you need something found, shes the one to do it! In combat, that skill can be used to sniff out weak spots and use them to her advantage.
4) Claws: Leona was trained in using claws of all things, and is a master at quick, close combat. She can be in and out before one even realizes it! Be it one or two handed, Leonas claws are a force to be reckoned with!

HISTORY

A long time ago, Leona was created as the third of four "children" by the Goddess of Chaos and Dscord, Eris. Eris, embittered for being imprisoned by her sister Arianna, had devised a devious plan. Eris herself couldnt leave the realms, but her creations could! So she crafted these four and trained them with the intention of going down into the worlds and spreading chaos, weakening them. And i the meanwime, Eris would have Arianna be the one imprisoned with the energy being slwly taken from the worlds. It was a perfect plan right? How could it go wrong?

But something did.

Leona was teamed up with her older brother. Zetsumei (who she affectionatly called Zetsy!) and sent to the Final Fantasy Tactics World, Ivalice. Armed with her nose, claws, and the leo stone to boot, it was Leona's task to gather the remaining holders of stones, the Zodiac Braves. Only her task was slightly different than the nomral. She was to find those Braves and defeat them... allowing the demons controlling the stones, the Lucavi, free once more to help her in terrorizing the land. And it might have worked to, had Leona's nose not led her to an unmentioned, 13th Zodiac. Serpentarious as the stone was called, was held by a young man named Ramses deBezna. After showing him how to use the powers he held (But not quite fully explaining her mission to him ) he agreed to come and journey with her to find the remaining Braves.

But adventure has a way of bringing two hearts closer together, and with these two it certainly did. Through trial and mistrials, injury and near death, these two started to trust each other... and something more. Soon Leona found herself feeling guilty over not being completely honest with him and told Ramses everything. (Not in one sitting mind you! ) Together, they came up with a new plan. Instead of ruling the worlds through chaos, theyd gather the Braves and lead the land with them.

Easier said than done... and her family definitly wasnt happy with THAT one. Eventually Leona ends up getting a visit paid to her by Arianna, who tried to explain to Leona the truth in things. How the many centuries of Eris's teachings (Eris would tell her kids some very nasty things about Arianna as one might imagine) were false... and why Eris was banished. Confused and angry, Leona went to Ramses for advice. This all led to Leona's new desicion. She had always hungered for a hme... it was what Eris promised to create amd what the children never had. But Arianna claimed that Eris liked to create worlds and then destroy them. Would Eris destroy their eventual home in the end?

They would defect... but they woudlnt side with Arianna either. They would be neutral! Yeah, they could continue to journey, just for them. Unfortunatly for the two of them, when all 13 Zodiac stones were finally gathered there was a great explosion of power. The two of them were sent to yet another world...

Where Leona's Zodiac powers didnt work. Ramses was used to this, hed lilived his whle life before meeting leona without them. But Leona near panicked. She was used to hers, having used it almost every battle in some way or another. But eventually, she became used to relyin on her other abilities and powers.The two of them in this world became sphere hunters, seeking special spheres from the temples. Theyd give them to Arianna's heroes in the end, and there. Still neutral right? Right!

On the way, Leona came to a crossroads. She was met by her younger brother, Force. Now Force, a very nice guy who seemed to almost always smile, was ready for battle it seemed. Leona made the promise that if she defeated him she could move on... but lose and shed have rethink things through. After an intense, long, and complicated battle she emerged on the winning end and the two continued.

Of great note here is that the two ended up growing closer eventually marrying in Besaid. Leona learned a lot there, and picked up a last name even.

But before they could gather all of the spheres something else happened. There was a massive energy flux, depositing the pair in an alternate world, 30 years into the future... and on opposite ends of the continent! Leona meanwhile met her brother once more! Her brother seemed to hold no grudge, and the two even traveled together for a bit... before another fluz occured sending him into another world! Now Leona had to find two instead of just one person...

Only to have herself picked up by the flux soon after! Ending up in a new world, she was reunited with her brother. But her love as it turned out, was in a place called the Desert Prison. Determined to see him free, she leaves for there and iwith the help of her brother and his girl Lea, infiltrates the prison. Finally reaching Ramses cell after a few mishaps or so, she discovers him to not quite be his usual self. The heartless in this world had invaded the prison before, and had taken an already weakened (from defending the people) Ramses. But Leona was determined that she wasnt about to give up...

*A slight note on leona and her siblings as well. Created in the void they have no need for food or water or anything of that sort but partake in them usually because they want to! Theyre created basicly, to where they could live in a vacuum and have the ability to regenerate but its slow. Quite a few years between all of them, they are created to where they do not age.
