This inspired me. Which is your favorite logo? X's the best. But that's biased because X is my favorite in the entire series.Nothing much, really. I took my old Ikea clock, printed out the logos on some paper and replaced it with the old time plate. My clock faces my closet door where it hangs, so now I have something pretty to look at when I wake up in the morning.
Aside from my face in the mirror. Teeheehee.

As far as designs go, I'm torn between V(I LOVE Dragons), VI (Magitek Ftw lol), X(It's just beautiful in it's elegant duality), and XII(I'll go into detail about this one at the end) as far as style goes.
The one I dislike the most as far as style and creativity goes, is IX. IX looks weird, and when I first saw it, I thought that the little center symbol was like a chibi of one of the characters (Namely Zidane or something) because other than VII they were usually all based on characters of some kind, even the Dragon in V is Shinryu if I'm not mistaken. Your "first" flying "vehicle I didn't figure out till later, and upon closer inspection that I guess the symbol on the Final Fantasy IX logo is supposed to be some kind of "crystal?" I could be wrong. Either way, I can't freaking stand that damn logo.
Now I will bring up why I included Final Fantasy XII in my logo likings. It wasn't just the detail and style I liked about it, but it was something else that caught my attention, and I'm curious as to whether or not anyone else noticed this... So herein lies my question to everyone....
Did anyone else notice that the logo design for Final Fantasy XII is the FIRST Final Fantasy Logo to be particularly VERTICALLY based? All previous Final Fantasy logos had a very distinct HORIZONTAL Orientation of it's generalized layout. Both in lettering and design features. However, Final Fantasy XII (Maybe because it was the final PS2 Based Final Fantasy Game?) was the first to have a design that drove the image (and our eyes) upwards as opposed to sideways. I mean really look at it.
Normally when it comes to the English language, reading dictates from LEFT to RIGHT, but in the Japanese culture, writing and reading is generally done not only in reverse, but also from UP to DOWN. I think maybe they might have wanted to have more of a Japanese influence upon even the design featuring aspect of the Final Fantasy Logo, as well as something different from all the others. (Especially since the game itself played, specifically battles, in a much different fashion than previous games)
Did anyone else notice this? Did anyone else wonder as well? Or am I just an overly attentive nut?

You should sell this. I think it would sell, really.
Also, based on style alone, I'd have to go with VI, since it seems like a meaningless shape until you've played the game, at which point you realize the genius. FridgeLogic, to the tropers. But I have a fondness for I and III, based on them having nothing whatsoever to do with the actual games.

I am biased for XII. Loved that one. VERY nice clock too. I'm too lazy to do something this creative.

Damn, I want one.... yours is so much better than the one the link goes to... the rim is so much prettier and the hands are skinnier so that they don't block out a lot of the logo's
