Description
Decided to draw Yume's new design except you can't see if because its a dark picture haHAI realized i haven't drawn Yume with spirit orbs in fo r e v er so i decided why not and added rain as well!

Are spirit orbs typically warm? XD
Most depictions would have you think they're actually colder than the surrounding area.
Plus if people just die, and that's it...What's a spirit orb, exactly? X3
Anyway, gotta love the lighting in this, sure we can't really SEE Yume all that much, but it's a lovely picture.
Especially the rain portion of it, looks really nice. Like the little bit of rain just over the orb. ^^

They radiate the spirit's feelings so happy or calm is warm or sad and stressed is cold etc

Would the "spirit," in question be the orb?
In any case, that's a neat effect.
Also so the name "spirit orb," is more of an aesthetic name, rather than a literal. I could see how someone could come up with the name Spirit orb for something so...Interesting. They appear to be harmless, or at least mostly so.
Also on a quick note(I don't want to go to far into as I hadn't meant to make this a lore questions comment but I am curious).
If you don't mind me asking? What the kind of technology they have? Obviously for someone like me when I hear of this world I think Medieval -fantasy. No electrical lights, or tv's (certainly no internet) and perhaps significantly more covered in nature rather than buildings. But I could be wrong, after all a few of Ven's old designs had him wearing quite a modern looking mask.
Again, answer this if you have the time or even feel like it. This wasn't meant to be a lore comment anyway. XD

Not necessarily, there are indeed spirits inside of each orb, but where they came from is a mystery.
Originally i had the world more cyberpunk themed, but right now it is a mix of fantasy-medieval with some areas being more civilized and i'm thinking there are even maybe a few cities around the area, the world is not fully developed itself but i have the base idea right now
