Eyyyy I was in the mood for some character design, so have a quick doodle! I did it in about 30 minutes just for fun!At first it was just a drawing of an "infected creature", but then I wanted to give it some sort of title. Calling it "Please go away" is too edgy, so I liked the irony of "Plz Go Away, I Don't Want to Get Sick..."
I'm looking for a bit of critique on the design! It's just a sketch, so I'll disregard anything about line quality, lack of colour, stuff like that.

Aww, poor guy, It's an interesting design, looks pretty cool. I like all the infected boils on his body and at first when I read it, I thought it said "plz go away, I don't want you to get sick"
Monster designs are always pretty fun to make with good with the right creative touch even if sometimes at random, and so far to what I see it's not half bad looking. ;]
Body structure seems pretty good too. As for the before image of the head, unsure if that is fins or hair? It's very wavy XD but judging by the tail of the after my guess it's hair.

It was mostly just a random idea, but I got a bit of inspiration for Hollow Knight (of course lol) and from some other character designs I've seenΒ

I keep staring at the way you put together the feet, like- There's real weight to the toe pads and the claws look super sturdy and almost like slightly oversized claws you might see on a greyhound or other running canine/feline. And the angles really shows off the structure and I can't help finding it fascinating!
Gives me inspiration for dragons!!

Overall, I do really like the design! The midline fin/crest down the chest helps the center of gravity feel a bit lower, making it feel less like the poor ill-boy is about to fall over. You've got a pretty broad stance on the set of the feet, which makes me wonder how the creature would move. Maybe like a comodo dragon?
It feels a bit strange that the only "hair" appears to be on the tail though. Maybe it's balding due to illness? Or maybe have a scraggly back-crest to help tie it in? Don't get me wrong, I like the tail, but it feels like it need to be a bit more integrated.
That's some serious blistering going on there o_O I can only imagine the trail of nasty that would be left behind if one of those popped >_<
But seriously, awesome design! I really hope there's a colored version coming in the future

I was having the character sort of "balding" but I agree that it needs more unity, maybe even just adding some remaining strands of hair to the head would be good!
