Made for EQD's day 3 of artist training - draw a pony duel. Draw time ~ 3 hours.

This Paladin Pony needs a name! If you've got one, go ahead and post it below - he doesn't want to go by "Sir Paladin" forever!

I have to admit, I'm kind of a Unicorn supremacist. If Unicorns ever applied tactics to their most basic ability (multiple object telekinesis), then no army of griffins or earth ponies could ever hope to conquer Equestria.

If swords were designed to be used by Unicorns, there would be no handles, only blades. I actually wonder that a lot with props for Rarity and Twilight (among others) when they have handles.

Strangely, it's much faster and easier for me to forget about clean cartoon lines and rush a chiaroscuro painting instead...I wonder if that makes me weird.
