Description
This is something of a rarity because the commissioner of this sizeable drawing allowed me to post it on my dA wall for all to enjoy. So a huge thank you to him, (you know who you are). The idea behind it was that the X-Men ladies had been hit by some sort of inflating gun/superpower which would also explain the various sizes of expansion.Although I'm away from a working internet connection hopefully this will at least show I am still able to draw on my tablet no matter where I am. I love drawing for people, and it's a very nice distraction for me when I'm away from home, and this large project was a huge amount of fun to draw, and can hopefully be enjoyed by many others.

Damn! quite the group there. Personally, I haven't aesthetically preferred one or two of the various shapes and arrangements you've experimented with in inflation through the years, but these are all objectively rather well done and I certainly love some of them.
I will say this much, if you're open to my thoughts, though. If you are going to go with full length limbs I'd suggest keeping the spine/back length consistent to their normal height, and the legs near completely unchanged, kinda like with Storm and Jean Grey here, sort of making it belly inflation technically.
if there's any explanation to it, I guess it just naturally follows that if you have the normal legs of an everyday woman you see in the real world, the brain kind of has a fixed expectation to see the rest of the whole posterior side be there and line up normally with the rest of her. After all in real life, a person's spine stays the same length no matter how much weight they can gain, and not as much fat goes to the back of the torso, the front is were it can all go outward and completely vary. you can see what I mean if you look at the legs of mystique by itself and cover the other half with your hand, doesn't it kind of look like she's half stuck in a giant balloon or something? similarly I kind of imagine the rest of her lying on the balloon, normal sized.
Of course on the other end, something like this works well to me too, sirwiggles.deviantart.com/art/… where the limbs are just simple mounds, (kind of like 2005 Violet Beauregarde), or full on 1971 Violet where the sphere fully encompasses the limbs. I guess if the legs don't even resemble their resemble their former selves, as does the back, it sort of fits into the transformation better and allows us to suspend disbelief enough. if that's even the word.
Again, this is completely your art and someone else's commission, and different people prefer different aesthetics, if any; But that's my two cents if you're on the fence which style to run with....

Ok. Just so you know, clean or otherwise, I like bursting involving a character's whole body inflating to massive sizes until they reach critical mass.
