. I heard about needle felting back when I was in Arizona in December. So when I went to one of the spinning stores relatively close to where I live, I bought a couple of needles and a bunch of bits of wool roving. On the way home I made this. Not a good idea to use sharp pointy needles in a car, but I managed to not bleed or anything. It's kind of a super dark purplish color because that was one of the colors I had the most of. Based off of the soot balls from Spirited Away.
