Cinnabar is technically neither, as the gems are sexless. Though the closest idea we have to genders for the gems is that they use he/him pronouns and refer to each other as " oniichan / aniki ", meaning brother, in the show/Mangakas native language. It's ambiguous as to whether the gems identify as boys however. Pronouns are one thing but gender is never brought up. So i guess it's up to your interpretation if Cinnabar is a boy or a girl. Sorry if you wanted a simple answer haha

But then again, certain shows have certain periods where they have no legal streaming sites. Nichijou, even though it is considered one of the best comedy anime by a large amount of anime fans in the US (I say US because it was barely noticed in Japan for some reason, but got big in America from people hearing about it in forums), has no legal streaming site currently.
