First page of my sorry attempt at a serious story. I have no idea how to use screentones effectively; I just splashed on whatever I thought fit the pic at that moment.

The storyline is barely holding together (I'm learning new stuff as I go, and so far, the characters' behaviour is within reasonable limits), but I'm working on cementing it.

Anyway, I give you Matt and Near. This takes place roughly a year after Mello's departure from Wammy's. Matt is almost 15, which means he'll be leaving the House too, and Near is 14.

Pages 2, 3 and 4 are gonna go live in a couple of days. I've switched from cell shading to soft shading, and it's a pain, especially since I'm kinda out of practice.
