Description
He bolted upright, his pale skin glistening with a sheen of sweat, his blue eyes filled with sorrow, and anger at the hot tears that fell down his cheeks. He brushed them away, trying to stop his chest from heaving.It was just a dream.
A nightmare.
One he was having increasingly regularly; though the location was always different - clifftop, construction site - the event was always the same.
Tseng leant up slightly, frowning as he gently swept damp tendrils of red hair from Reno's forehead. "What's wrong?"
The redhead looked down at him, shifting closer and pulling his husband into his arms. "Just a dream, yo. Just a dream."

Everyone has the dream where they're falling, only to wake up... in Reno's dreams its never him.
It started out as something from one of my dreams, and definitely nothing so sinister! But as usual my art has a habit of taking on a life of its own - or rather, Reno's nightmares seep in lately.
I didn't chicken out of faces at all, what are you talking about?

I want to know Reno more in my opinion. In my own way, but understanding the character through other people or how they think the character is just makes one understand what is going on. It's hard to not react. D: I was so sad. *pats on head* You did a wonderful job. ^ ^

Also, a warning that in this you do see the ignored softer side. Yes he is still a cold blooded killing machine, who sevretly loves his job (despite the paperwork) but this is him making sure he remembers there's something else underneath

XD You can never make it sound bad. I love it so far! And yeah, I can never picture Reno not EVER loving his job. That just seems to be who he is. He loves the sounds of bombs and a good killing now and then. Just how I picture him. A hard to love person (he has a hard time loving, and someone else may have a hard time loving him too lol). He just doesn't seem appealing for his dark side. But yet it is all dangerous and sexy, so that is where the interest comes in. lol Probably why me and a friend paired Vincent and Reno together. Their dark sides just attract.

*chuckles* Well, as you can see my Reno was bought up with family being more important than anything, which is half of why he's so loyal to the Turks - they're his family now. But its also why he isn't completely heartless when he's off the job, and why he's unhappy. He wants to love, he knows that he can, its just will he ever have the oppertunity considering what he does?
And then there's Tseng who believe that there's nothing human left about himself, which is amusing because he's like Reno - a completely different person when he's allowed to shrug off the ShinRa persona.
And nah, Tseng and Reno are my OTP... though Cloud and Vincent is cute, their broodiness works together XD

XP Every woman to her own ideas and devices. Personally I do not mind who Reno is paired up with (well....there is a few I would question lol), but for my own goodiness I have to put him with Vincent. (*secret fan of Cloud/Zack yaoi* :3)

Its that just before dawn sort of thing, or early dusk - you know when all the colour seems sapped from the world and the moon is suddenly visable?
