Description
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...Quinn Shara, a Force-sensitive teenager, struggles with the monotony of life on a backwater world, she craves a greater meaning in life as the rest of the Galaxy passes her by, she may well find that meaning however, as she crosses paths with Isabelle Devon, the leader of a fledgling rebel group. Will the ambitious young girl seize the opportunity to finally take charge of her destiny, and pursue her dream of becoming a Jedi?

Page sixty-four of my Star Wars OC AU fan comic thing.
As she prepares to take on the Imperial Raider, Chase gives Quinn a brief summery of what they're up against...
And just like that another batch of Markers bite the dust, these pages demolish them, though I should be able to order more tomorrow, hopefully get them delivered on Saturday, though it costs extra... But I wanna power on through this, the end is in sight, well, for this particular story at least...
That Imperial Raider is a tough ship to draw, angles are everything, they have to be precise or it just doesn't work, but I think I've got it sussed, it's certainly an interesting design, glad to have chosen it as the "big bad" of this comic.

A loot box that a friend got recently had a Battlestar Galactica Cylon Raider figure in it which he gave to me as he didn't watch the show. Long story short it's been giving me some intense nostalgia for badass fighter sequences and kick ass pilots and all that good stuff. First Farewell is really helping to scratch that itch.

I really need to watch Battlestar Galactica, I think I've seen the two-part television pilot, and remember enjoying it.

I definitely recommend the beginning, it's tense, it's harrowing, you don't know what's gonna happen, the characters are all amazing, and there are deep questions that are hard to answer in it. But as it goes on they kind of lost that a little bit. I don't know if it was a lack of budget but the awesome fight scenes started sort of phasing out and got replaced by a lot of intership politics. Which is nice in moderation but I didn't sign on to watch The West Wing but in space.

To be fair it's gotta take some crazy to strap yourself into what's essentially a metal tube and propel yourself through the air/space at ungodly speeds, especially knowing that even the tiniest miscalculation can be fatal, pilots in general are crazy... XD
