We have various 'Polar Bear' CLUBS around that take a DIP
in said COLD waters each SPRING here ....

SOME to prove their 'toughness' ....

OTHERS do it to raise MONEY for CHARITIES ....

Ugh, it feels like it!! It was 10 degrees heading to work this morning! I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Too much snow here still

I'm working on an Asus G73JW laptop with an Intel i7 quad core and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M graphics card...and 8 GB of RAM.
I bought it in 2010 so it's already old technology.

This render took 21 hours, but that's mostly due to the leaf trees...they are high-poly Vue objects as opposed to Vue plant species. Normally my renders average around 6 to 10 hours at 3200 x 1362. I always render a large image and then after any adjustments in Photoshop I resize it to 1920 x 817 for posting here.
