Description

Doodled for the context of an Rp, but an element ive had in mind for a while, Essentially- these guys are meant to be mounts for angelic beings within my character world.

An angelic being in my character world isn't the same sense that its viewed in the 'real' religious view, but angels are simply spirits who choose to serve the benevolent gods- while demons are referred to as spirits who choose to side with the malevolent ones. (However, a spirit can change at will.) Because they will draw power from their dominant 'gods', it changes their forms. Angelic beings often forming the notable bird wings, and demons earning other demonic traits (Though there are high variations between individuals of course.)

A spirit, is not by definition something dead, but a soul in general, so while a portion of angels/demons are stemmed from dead spirits, many are also just spirits who chose this route for their first 'life' and thereby have always been angels or demons. The two sides are notably at war, and half of the war of good and evil is just the spirits butting heads, rather than the gods themselves.
Because spirits are individuals, and their forms are based on loyalty-rather than behavior, evil angels and good demons can exist and just because a spirit takes an angelic form does not exempt them from error or horrible actions.

These critters are angelic beasts, most often former animals that passed away and chose to remain angelic. They can change forms but the one above is their 'standard' or typical real form (With variation in tail style, number of wings, horns, and pelt patterns. They are typically used as mounts for angels who have no wings (either due to losing them in battle or not maintaining the strength for them).

They are loyal, intelligent companions who can follow orders. They prefer to attach to one rider, and spend most of their time serving them. They are quick, capable of carrying someone in the air, and capable of some minor holy attacks.

They are not very sturdy, and are better not used as war-beasts, as opposed to just transportation and companionship.

Some relevant characters to info above

Serafina - Technically the leader of the angels (Though really, of the benevolent gods shes simply the one who devotes the most time to them), she's the one who gave the angelic beasts their form and often uses them herself.

Asmodeus - Opposite to Serafina, leader of the demons/evil beings.
