My beloved, but now sold 1977 Cadillac Coupe deVille. The last of the TRUE Cadillacs... An iron block 425 cubic inch (7.0 litre) pushrod V8 sending power to the rear wheels viaa a TH400 trans. and a snow white leather interior. Too bad I had to sell this one, twice. The only car of the 48 I've owned over the past 12 years of my driving career, that I bought back, and then sold again. It's a big naples yellow Cadillac Land Yacht so its nickname was the Banana Boat. We sold this car in July 2008 to buy a 1984 Mercedes Benz 500SEC hardtop coupe.Related content

That thing would look really cool in all dark metallic gray with all the chrome blacked out and all insignia removed but the hood ornament, and with a big blower sticking out of the hood.

I don't make a lot of money.... despite working two jobs. Trust me I did not want to sell it but when gas went to $4,59/gallon I was driving 50-80 miles a day, that gets very expensive with a thirsty 425 V8.
I get up at 2:45am to go work my a%$ off at UPS, get out a 9:00am and have to rush to get to my next job by 10:00am and I finally get home at 6:00pm or 7:30pm depending on the day.... I don't have the luxury of keeping more than three cars anymore.

Yeah... that's one nice thing about the horrible economic mess, gas is back under $2.00/gal. I've been thinking about getting a big 1960s Pontiac as of late.

He needs a lot of work done still. The battery is dieing, the idle is high. the tires are dry rotted, etc etc. this is gonna be a project

Well. I have a list of what is wrong with it. It's nothing major. Car has 151,000miles on it.
