Hey guys! Now, normally I don't bake. It's rare that I do, but today was a special occasion.
Garrett's 18th Birthday <3
A few months ago I downloaded Portal, Chester and Garrett stopped by while I was about halfway through the game. Within an hour they were hooked as well.
It seemed so appropriate to make the Portal cake for his birthday, I approached it less like making a cake and more like an art project.
The layers are marbled in blue and orange to look like the portals and the icing between layers also blue and orange and look a hell of a lot like repulsion and propulsion gels.
Anyway, the cake was a big hit. He was so pleased with it!
