I imagine why. Fillies are smaller than mares but their heads are still huge for their bodies. What part do you find hard about drawing them though? The fact that you drew Zinnia regardless of how hard it is makes me appreciate it all the more. It means so much to me that you drew her. I still look at the drawing every now and again.

I think the heads are the hardest part for me, their eyes are usually perfect circles which seems funny when it comes to drawing it out, XD

At least the eyes make drawing fillies a little more fun. But I relate to drawing a filly. Usually I worry if I have Zinnia's head to small for her body. Which usually causes me to resketch it all if I do. I don't draw much so it isn't much of a deal. But I hope to get better at portraying Zinnia since I have to draw her once more after I do Ruse.

I agree with you there. I had thought it was going to end up with Sea Foam looking down towards the camera, but when it was done with her looking forward while swimming, i thought it was better. ^^

Sea Foam looking forward turned out fine as well, I think it was a good choice. Since the camera is below, it looks like the perspective of a fish looking up. That's how I imagine it at least.
