Nemera is a young Thundercat, a member of the Felis Pardus tribe of noblecats on Thundera. She was amonst the refugees who fled the destruction of her homeworld upon the Thundercat Ark ships. Before her ship was destroyed in an attack by the Mutants, she ejected in an escape-pod bound for Third Earth.
Nemera's escape-pod was discovered on Third Earth by one of the Warrior Maiden tribes who took her in and trained her in their ways. Nemera carries a bow and a quiver of arrows which she uses with expert precision thanks to her training and keen eyesight. When she encountered the other Thundercats who had reached Third Earth, Nemera rejoined her kin with the Maiden's blessing.
Nemera is a patient fighter who prefers to examine any situation from a distance before comitting to action. This is mostly due to her early training years on hunts with the Warrior Maidens, where any rash action or lapse in concentration could have resulted in the prey being lost or a comrade exposed to harm in the wild jungles of Third Earth. Nemera's slower approach, coupled with her preference of working alone, has built up a perception of being aloof to some of the other Thundercats. But the reality is Nemera is fiercely loyal to her friends and will go to any lengths to protect them.
