Description
A Tugboat is tied up at the Waterford New York (USA) docks, located before the the first set of locks of the Erie Canal , awaiting the next barge to be moved up the canal towards Buffalo New York. We lived near where the Hudson River branched into the Erie Canal so I have many images of boats on the river. I'm new here at DA and I have been using a few images to "test the waters" sort to say (excuse the pun) here at DeviantArt. This is a Digital Painting started with a sketch and watercolor, then scanned and completed using Corel Painter software on a computer attached to a graphic pad with a stylus pen.
