Sometimes life is worrisome and it shows on our face and mannerisms. We place our hands on the back of necks and look across the table at others around us and wish that things were better. Being a beautiful young woman is no guarantee of happiness or living a life without problems. This painting started as a photo and went through several versions over the years and this is my latest. Having so much white space is a problem. If it had started on canvas or heavy watercolor paper the texture would mute the light on her face and arms, but I started with a photograph and have decided to leave it as it is until I get a chance to paint her with real media. It is difficult to compete with all the AI images and this my recent attempt.
