According to ancient legends, when the Arceus blade arrived to our world, it was said to have accompanied by eighteen stone plates known to this day as plate drives. These plate drives are said to grant the sword unrivaled power derived from the elements. As time went on, these plates scattered to the wind traveling the world.

This plate drive, named the Flame Drive, grants the sword the power to control fire. There have been accounts of the sword’s power while using the Flame Drive used by mortal amidst wars and conflict. So much so that civilization were reduced to dust.

The plate was discovered near an active volcano that spewed lava and breathed fire that were above normal temperatures for a volcano.
