I have started a little drawing project.
I have done a research about archangels and decided to draw the four most famous of them: Gabriel, Michael, Raphael and Uriel. This is the archangel Uriel, he is the regent of the sun, the angel of salvation and the guardian of the Gate of Eden were he stands with a fiery sword. Uriel rules Ministration and Peace. His name is interpreted variously as, "God is My Light", "God is Light", "Radiation of God" and "Fire of God.". His symbol is an open hand holding a flame, which he offers as the Flame of Love towards all souls. In Christian tradition, Uriel is also the Angel of music, the angel of poetry and the angel of Prophecy. Uriel also assists in communicating with nature, and can be called on to assist with material and earthly matters.

Very nice - peaceful face in flames. But I would crop it to his waist for a better effect - I think legs are too short. Though he has beautiful tattoos on them.

I agree that the legs are too short but I wouldn't crop it because then the compostion would look really strange. I rather prefer some short legs instead.
