The hair, as always, looks great.
I am not so taken by the face.
The eyes are marvellous (so bold!) but your brushes are a little soft on the skin and there's not much definition to the shape as a result.
Now, believe it or not I have done a little research on SAI to try and work out how you're painting these (I assume you are still using SAI). It's actually a much more powerful program than I had anticipated.
I'm not sure if you're using the airbrush to get that smooth gradient but if you are you may be better off using the harder brushes (eg the paintbrush) at a lower opacity (density in SAI I think it's called) and maybe blending later with the blur tool (a capable blending brush with a little adjustment). You can also adjust the blendablility of the actual paintbrush so it picks up the near colours and maybe work in the blending in a more natural way (more like oil paints in fact). It's a bit like some of the brushes I use in Manga Studio. At the very least it can give you more control over the hardness of your edges.
Now all of that may be useless to you or you could already know it but certainly there's a lot of potential in that little program (though I can only speak of the short experience I have of trying it).
Secondly, I hate to say it but it couldn't hurt to use some more reference, particularly if you're doing a face. When I started to give up on linework I found using reference a useful crutch to get me through (I was able to focus more on learning the program and less on inventing lighting etc). It might work for you too.
Anyway, overall it's a good picture and I love the expression on the face and the intensity of those eyes. Great work!

I positively hate airbrush tools in every program. My problem with the edges is my incessant need to use the select wand and how it handles the edges, since a lot of the building is using layers. I usually try to do clipping layers instead of the select wand but old habits die hard. I really hate the blending options with different brushes so I tend to mess with just the blur tool or layers, unless I'm working on the hair. My big problem is the lack of depth with the spectrum of tones used on the skin to mold different parts of the face, which I could easily hide using heavy lines but I am still in an adjustment period with going away from them. I'm not aiming for perfect, just experimenting and trying new things. I know what all the tools do and adjust them as needed, since I've been using the program for a really long time now, but I really like keeping it is as simple as possible lol
I am not going in blindly with the face, since the sketch it looks perfectly fine, but I am still figuring out how to shape things without the use of lines once I add color to the thing. So every thing gets a little warped and weird, but I still think its an improvement and going in the right direction. I also have a very difficult time using references while doing digital art, but maybe one day, when I get the two screen set up I'd like, I'll be more prone to use them. Its just.. its a 3/4's profile and I've done a billion of them, so its really more of a coloring issue.
