This is vary nice. I have a race thats vary similar, Seems you have more history though behind your race,
Im still figuring mine out after like five years, Never been able to get a proper visualization on how they
would look so I had to use a doll maker which does not give much detail at all 
the ideas are though, only really difference is I've choose to go with glass gemstone skin and yours has light fur.
