Once a shrine maiden of the Grand Narukami Shrine, Kuki Shinobu now makes her living as the sidekick of the one and oni Arataki Itto - but that isn't to say that her former supervisor has completely forgotten about her resignation. Having set a trap for the short-tempered ninja in Chinju Forest (with a little help from a certain visiting forest ranger from Sumeru), Yae Miko and Kujou Sara have been rewarded for their efforts and are now giving Kuki what she deserves for ditching them in favor of Sara's horned nemesis. In the words of Best Girl Ganyu (who sadly couldn't make it for personal reasons), "This is long overdue!"

The long-awaited prize for my TeyvaToberFest raffle from last October goes to doouche , who suggested Shinobu as the subject of said prize! I went a little overboard on the effects for this one and I think ended up with something on par with my monthly Patreon rewards as a result, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. This was a fun piece to work on and, a hearty round of thanks goes the person who suggested the idea, and additional thanks go to everyone who participated in the raffle and especially to my good friend WrenchofTheTeam who helped me organize it in the first place! Who knows, perhaps I might find the time to set up another one of these things someday...
