Description
The picture I drew for Final Fantasy XI's fanart contest last year..? Or year before... Something like that. Took about 30 something hours and a small pinky's worth of pain.Won a nomad moogle rod.
Sadly, I can't include the Creative Commons license thing because Square Enix has a hold on the rights to this piece.

The feathers were a last minute decision, since the theme was Wings of the Goddess, the lighting was meant to suggest more of a gallery scene, with light from the goddess above, but there was a size limit and I started the picture too big XD.

It looks good ^^, it's awesome that you won a prize for this, it certainly looks like you put some much time and work into the piece.
And I just saw the Galka Dancer, and it just looks so funny! XD
Although I do think that the feathers are a bit out of place, they just seem more like a random decision rather than a part of the plan for the piece.
But I still think you've done a great job, it's just such a BIG piece!
