Approaching the third week mark of Taut-tober quite fast, aren't we?~ Why don't we slow down for a moment and take a rest...after all, our next ballooning friend lies not in reality, but within dreams~

I'm sure everyone has had a recurring "character" in their dreams before, someone or something that frequently appears, as if it's more than just a part of your mind? Well...sometimes, it is. These are Dream Protectors, beings that watch over one's mind and expel harmful nightmares and thoughts that could interrupt your subconscious mind...in the case of one dreamer, this was Gogi, a cute, armless little rabbit with a bell collar and perpetually closed eyes~

Gogi did their job very well, keeping the dreamer safe, even in the most horrible of nightmares...but as of recent, the dreamer's thoughts became...strange. In the real world, there were news articles everywhere about...things puffing up...~
Just two days ago, some kind of bizzare, colorful balloon just. Appeared over a city! Or how city-sized, goofy-looking wildlife was spotted out in the wilderness, or even seemingly abandoned locations having massive spheres vaguely resembling their old mascots bursting straight out of them!!

This recent string of events had caused something very odd to happen in the dreaming world, as those thoughts became manifest...~

When Gogi first entered this new dream to watch over it...they noticed just how different it was...it almost resembled some kind of bouncy castle...every surface was rubbery and...full...feeling bloated and tight, like it was overblown with air. This wasn't BAD per say but it was unusual. The dream bunny hopped along through this world, it was almost cavernous in nature, with it's environment being fairly dim...
It was so dim in fact that Gogi didn't even notice that he himself was slowly beginning to swell...his torso slowly rounding out into a soccer ball...then a beach ball...then bigger...~

He noticed...but...he didn't feel distressed, oddly enough, perhaps it was the comfort of feeling his balloony form slowly engulf his head and feet. But something about it was enough to make him relax and accept what was happening...plus, the lighter form allowed him to make jumps he otherwise couldn't!~

As he ventured deeper, he grew more taut and bloated, just as his own eyes began to bulge, he noticed other eyes on the walls, elongated and popped out, this place almost looked as though it were made entirely out of ubered out folk, compressed so tightly together that they formed an entire environment...~ Gogi had to admit that it didn't seem like too bad of a fate...though he still had to find the Dreamer...~

By the time he did, his body had audibly began creaking, as all of his features had long since ballooned up past recognition~ Taut, enlarged, and feeling ready to burst...it was a feeling of relief to find the dreamer, just...laying down in the middle of this strange place...~
As soon as they saw Gogi and how much he had swelled, they just...hugged deeply into him. It had turned out that the Dreamer was VERY much a fan of this bizarre place, and especially blimped up looks in general...~ For Gogi, this lifted any potential guilt they may have felt over enjoying this. If their dreamer loved it too, why shouldn't they?~

This acceptance of indulgence only caused Gogi's swelling to skyrocket in speed, rapidly taking up the entire chamber, and becoming a part of this place's taut landscape...it was incredible...like being encased in the softest, most comfortable mattresses you've ever rested on...if you were also a mattress, and all of the other mattresses were people too...~
And while this was only a dream...it would only be a matter of time before the dreamer woke, and found themselves a rather taut surprise waiting for them by their bedside~
