This is a cool idea for a Regional form but Zubat already live in Johto with no issue or change that's a rule I give myself when creating forms regardless these look amazingΒ

Well, I'm sure I could come up with a reason why Zubat looks that way in Johto.
Of course older PokΓ©mon don't have the need to change: They were made to appear only in habitats that fits them.
Besides, I just couldn't resist the fact that Zubat appears in almost every region. Just imagine if each region had its own Zubat form. Nuisances in all forms and colours!~

Could you make a version where the golbat's jaw is reasonably sized rather than so unrealistic that the entire design needs replaced like with the official design. Decreasing the jaw by about 50% should do it

Honestly, I dislike that gaping hole that is Golbats mouth, too.
Like you said, the whole design has to be remade. That is not an option for regional variants, since the change would be too drastic.
But I will consider it if I ever do a Crossbreed or something else with the Zubat-line.

That sounds interesting, how hard is it to select the oversized jaw and separate it from the rest of the design before reshaping it such that it no longer is unrealistically wide and then reattaching it or just dimply reshaping it without removing it. There are probably several pokemon who you can splice bits of there sprite off in order to make a better jaw, or use the zubat mouth as a base then enlarge the design and show some of the inside of the mouth and tung. Is it really that difficult to use one of the previously mentioned methods to fix the jaw?

No, it's not really difficult to redo its jaw. I should be able to do it.
However, I just don't want to right now.
My policy for regional Variants is that I don't deviate too far from the original design. And the giant jaw is just part of Golbats design (actually, it takes up a major part of its entire body) . That's just how Golbat looks. If I change the jaw to be smaller, it wouldn't look like a Golbat anymore.
Look, maybe I will redesign Golbat someday, but right now I have other things in mind I want to do.
