Trying to draw more realistic wolves. Dunno if I succeeded.
Anyways, the background is pretty simple, and really fun to do. I like leaves.

Wow, I really like how simple the image concept is, yet when I look closer there are so many details! The background is fanastic, and I really like the wolf also. It sort of reminds me of the BBA comics by *KayFedewa , which is definitely a good thing.

OHJEEZ. Looked through a few pieces of your art. IT. IS. AMAZING. I love your style, SO MUCH. I'm really trying to improve mine... My anatomy is way off. (Wolves too skinny, paws not shaped correctly, heads too big, legs too skinny, etc. But I like your art a lot! C:

I think the thing with trying to draw more realistically is that you begin to loose your own personal style and sense of expression...I dunno

Love the forest background. I also really like how the background has a sunsetiesh tint to it, and not just green. I must say, the wolf looks very real. Th tongue is really nice. And I love how you did the paws.

Yeah, I wanted to do something other than a regular green forest background. Also, orange is my favorite color. :3 And THANK YOU for appreciating the paws, I've always had a hard time with them. ^^

The background IS pretty cool. I like how understated it is, it really lets the character stand out, while adding some great atmosphere

i... i'm not a big wolf person, but i had to say something about your background. simple, maybe for you-- but it is OUTSTANDING! i love it! such tiny little details, like the misty gradient to light up the grass silhouette.
phenomenal. but not overpowering and i don't feel like you sacrificed a week of good living-time to create it; it looks efficient and effective.

Wow. Thank you. And you're right, I spent about 10 hours on the picture in total, maybe 4 hours on the background. Simple, easy, and nice to look at.
