For Smogon's CAP project, here's a proposed pre-evolution I've made for Jumbao ! It's based on a baobab fruit and a Roman candle firework - since Jumbao's got arm cannons, I figured giving the pre-evo a partial basis on fireworks and explosives would be a good way to continue the theme. The color scheme actually gave me quite a bit of difficulty since I wanted something tropical and fruity, so I tried using bright reds, pinks, and oranges initially, but the CAP Discord spoke against going overboard that way so I used a similar color scheme to Jumbao but with red accents to make it slightly different.

A few people also noted that sad look on my fruity babby's face, which is actually intentional - it's an inverse of Jumbao's happy facial expression with the eyes slanted downwards. I figured that since my proposed pre-evo is a fruit, it's in the same boat as Bounsweet in that everybody wants to eat it, which is also why it shoots out fireworks sparks to scare off those who try.

The pre-evo art thread for Jumbao is still ongoing as of this writing! If you wanna send in some ideas for a tiny baobab boi, now and here are as good a time and place as any:
