Description OK! So here's today's. I saved the recording as well! I can turn it into a regular video with music, a longer one with voiceover, or an image tutorial, if you guys want me to. Tell me what you want to see!

The point here was to do a more dynamic landscape with interesting form. Too many of mine are really flat (I blame living in Alberta). So yeah. Inspiration indirectly taken from ~Fel-X and ~Wildweasel339 .
EDIT: Toned down the colours a smidgeon and gave it some more blue from the sky by suggestion of ~Wildweasel339 . Thanks!

This is really good for just over an hour's work. I think you've got the idea of atmospheric perspective for the most part. Here's a few critique points if you don't mind:

1. The colors in general seem a bit over saturated. From this distant view the atmosphere would tend to dull the colors down. Here is an example: [link] Of course you may not want to take it that far.

2. For the same reason as above, the shadows are a little too dark. Some of the sky color would fill them.

3. It would be a stronger composition choice if the road leading to the village crossed down into the foreground, gradually growing larger. Right now it goes straight off to the left, and it takes our eyes with it.

I hope this helps, cant wait to see more!

Thank you so much for the help! I used to have really bland, unsaturated work, so it's an easy fix to scale back a bit. I'll make the colour changes you suggested, but I'll leave the road (wouldn't want to take too much time overpainting a speedpainting haha).

Your work is really excellent, and I'm looking forward to seeing some more from you, too!

This is so lovely! The light and atmospheric quality of the whole thing is incredible! Thank you for sharing!

Well, the art itself is lovely, but it's very helpful to see others' process. I don't have a tablet or anything, and I'm totally a hobbyist that just started digital art (sort of. More like just randomly leaving people Muro drawings), but it's good to know how I might go about doing something "for real" if I ever have the patience.

I'll be putting up the video process of this piece as soon as my watchers pipe up and tell me whether they want it more in-depth or not. If you're looking for other processes, I have some up for my other speedpaintings.
