I feel like I’ve been working on this one forever, but it was worth it. I think I’m done with snakes- for a while, anyway.My sophomore year of college I did a really ambitious oil painting of Medusa. At the time, I had no clue what I was doing, and it took me so long I actually ended up turning in a wet painting. For a couple of years now I’ve really wanted to do a redemption piece because I felt like Medusa was too good to waste on one crappy project. So anyway, this is my new spin on the gorgon myth.
