Don't know them...Was it an animated series?
Disney,perhaps...And a bit of manga too...I've made better works, but i'm unable to scan them now. These are pictures of my quick sketches,took with a cellphone...

Its a funny show about two black kids and their grandad. One of the better animated shows still out now.
Not bad at all with what you have to work with. Hope you get better means soon.
