Hi there everybody! ^^

Here I am with a new skeksis fan-comic page, as promised!
This time it´s a small joke which came forth through several talks I had across these last years with my friends and , at which we noticed skekUng (the General) occasionally got drawn by new official artists as bearing a gargoyle-like face in the waist-purse he wears chained to the belly-plates of his uniform.
A FACE, as you read it. XD
I really don´t know why so many recent artists who were officially hired (and did otherwise an impeccable work at the skeksis) did think skekUng´s purse has a face in it XD.
My Dark Crystal fan-friends have double checked every single source we know and so have I, and nope: originally, there was nothing simmilar to a face in skekUng´s purse. It´s a square-ish leather bag with a small locking pin shaped as a half-moon (in fact the "abiranariba serpent", the same halfmoon shaped symbol seen in the Emperor´s staff)-and a rusty belt. It does have some fangs attached to its sides as ornaments, but nothing more is there. No face at all XD.

So...after having scratched our heads in turns to try and guess why the heck had those artists added a face to the General´s purse (NERD FUN! YAY!) I wanted to draw this small silly strip with a fun little thought on what could have put such a bizarre detail there. XD
I hope you´ll have a good laugh with it!

I´ll soon be back with more of these small comics and loose art-and hopefully commissions too!

*In case anyone wants to know,and since I am frequently asked about it: the materials used to draw and colour this comic were common graphite pencil, black ink, Faber Castell color pencils (common version, these are from a school-quality pack which comes with 48 colours: they´re not top-notch quality pencils, but they are decently pigmented and can be fairly well used!^^) * there´s also some white gel pen for small highlights and warm-white acrylic for milder highlights areas ^^*
