Description
This is the first face you'll see of one of my skeksis sculpts, from The Dark Crystal.Here you have SkekShod, the treasurer of the empire.
His greed knows no end, and being not too versed in the art of words, he's prone to bribe his fellows in his eternal search for gold and wealth!
The most silent of the court, SkekShod works under the supervision of SkekSil the Chamberlain, but constitutes an allegiance with SkekZok the Ritual Master and SkekOk the Scrollkeeper.
He is made of Cold Porcelain clay and cloth, and painted with acrylics...every detail pit into him and his fellows (whom you'll see in latter pictures) were completely made by hand.

Dumbledore Crow would probably flirt with Skekshod, use her/his charming wiles on poor SkekShod, then steal something pretty and shiny from the treasurer while he was swooning over Dumble!

HAHAHAHAH YEEEESSS!!! The treasurer has a truly besutiful collection of pretty shining things, ordered and classified by color, worth and kind...Dumble would love playing casanova with SkekShod and then stealing from his hoard!!!

Dumbledore Crow's heist is building up-mostly tin foil and plastic baubles...I heard a terrific noise last night-I think poor SkekShod has discovered that some of his treasure is missing! Dumble' also did not go out last night-but stayed quietly home...I wonder why?

amazing job with Shod, he looks so accurate and amazing, the details on the clothing on both this one and Zok is just astounding!

They both have two of the most elaborate robes. They and SkekEkt have the three most complex cloth overlaying.jewel-incristong robes to make!
Shod was also defying because of his face's texture: he seems to be fyll of "little holes" in the area between his beak and his eyes,,,

I always thought Shod looked like he had a slightly broken nose, the way his beak is bent

He might have tried at a bargain with another and have it gone awry...very awry, if the outcome was a broken beak!!!
More or less like, "Long ago, before the great Garthim wars"...

Other random skeksis: What do you want, treasurer?
Shod: Your collection of gold coated pearls.
Other random skeksis: In exchange of?...
Shod: This piece of silk!
Other random skeksis: *peers at a teeny, tiny bit of silken cloth, the size of a nut ,more or less.* IS THIS A JOKE?
Shod: Take it or leave it. It's a fair treat.
Other random skeksis: . . .
And thus, SkekShod, the treasurer's beak was never the same since that day.

As I said, you aren't being paid to do them, you are doing them because you want to, so people shouldn't make you feel pressured to get them done quick and fast! and lead to stress If people enjoy and appreciate you as a person as well as an artist, they will wait for the art to upload and it will be worth the wait. It certainly is for me!.
