Hi there everyone!
I´m back with some skeksis upload again: I hope it won´t be bad that it isn´t anyone canon this time though*I´m aware many of you might have been expecting the last canon charts, I am working on them!*

I´m just tossing another skekLa thing here for the moment.
Given how many times I´ve been asked about skekLa´s outfit, how does it represents her title, the reason for the colour choices, and basically what does her attire mean- I concluded that I´d probably do well to draw a decent-enough design-chart for her *something I had never done, given that I just sketched the thing and its colour pallete and went with it since day 1 -back at 2014, with minor changes over time....
Once I completed the Illustrator´s simplified design-explanations, I realised I had been also asked a lot about this character´s counterpart, UrAl the Writer. Then I decided to go for a twined design and idea-chart (even if as all fans know, the UrRu tend to be more alike to each other and there was not really much to comment on this one´s attire...)
Here´s both of them, hopefully enough, these details will be explainatory enough for everyone who ever asked about my fan-character´s garments and wanted to have a close look at UrAl!- who, to be fair, I have barely ever drawn at all ^^

This was also done to emphasize the fact that fan-characters can be carefully thought-up to fit as properly as possible within an established setting and cast, no matter how much certain people may insist about fan-characters being absolutely random and poorly designed if anyone thinks these two characters look bad or dislikes them that´s absolutely fine, but facts are facts: their creation did take time and careful thinking, so I wanted to finally share with everyone how the design choices were taken for these two .
This is also a little humble sample on how my thought and design processes work when coming up with a non-canon character for an established franchise (something I don´t do often, if at all, besides for these two )

I hope you´ll enjoy this little insight into these two characters, I´ll be back soon enough with more things on both canon and non-canon.
I´m currently working at some skeksis Asks, and the last two canon skeksis charts I was bringing up during last year (The series will most likely conclude with skekTek and skekZok, given how I want to stick to the MOVIE -ONLY canon *out of personal preferences* and bringing up any other characters with their former designs (particularly the Emperor) when they have been rather redesigned lately, would seem just strange and off to fans of the recent series *
