This Comic takes place after the hype of Zim's Autopsy has died down and Zim's corps has been turned into nothing more then a Trophy in honer of Dib's Discovery while The People have moved on to the next fascinating thing leaving Dib ignored and unheard once again.Dib find's him self going to his "trophy" each week to vent out his rage on the one thing that still mocks him even in death.

I always figured that if Dib won it was not going to change anything and that Zim's '' death '' did not make him happy. That's what he thinks but he does not realize that since zim is here, his life has changed. he finally lives an alien hunt as he has long dreamed and he lives full of inventures. anyway he was used to that fight with Zim. ('' episode '' '' mopiness of doom '' shows it well) killed zim it's like killing his passion...

I've annualized Invader Zim like Sherlock Holmes, and have figured out Dib's problem.
He wants to be a Hero..but, for all the wrong reasons.
It's kinda like how Tetrax put it to Ben Tennyson in the original Ben 10 series.
..Does you want to be a hero because it's the right thing to do?,
OR, does he just want the FAME that comes from being a hero.
That is who Dib will fail, even if he DOES succeed.
Because like Zim..he has selfish ambitions.
..and, fooled himself to believe otherwise.

So, Dib went through with it after all It's heart-wrenching, but hey, nothing wrong with an angsty story once in a while. It's one of those situations where I don't know who to feel more sorry for.
The coloring on this is just gorgeous-- the colors and the lighting really add the perfect mood to the piece, and as always I love how you draw Dib. You can really feel the pain and sadness he's going through And dead Zim-- so sad, yet so creepy. Brilliant work

I was reading some stories and then i saw this and i came up with a scenario for what would happen next, it's probably to long so I'll just put half of it.
"I guess i won"Dib said staring away from his "trophy".
You lost Dib.
Hearing the familiar voice, frowning slightly at it's words, spoke up "No I didn't."
Really, what do you have to show for your "victory"?
"Y-you" he spoke quietly trying to look away for the "trophy"
Dib, you messed everything up. I was the only person who tried to care about you, your Dad doesn't care, the Scientists don't care, nobody cares.
Dib turned around to his "trophy" and glared at it as if it was offending him,"Shut up! You don't know anything!"
You don't know anything Dib.
"I know more than you!" He yelled glaring daggers at the glass tube in front of him.
Really,than what do you know? Tell me.
"I know that I won" Dib repeated
What did you win?
"You"
Who did you win me for?
"For-for Earth"Dib stuttered at these words, still watching the tube.
They all abandoned you. What are you going to do now. Who still cares about your victory.
"They still care"
They don't
"Shut up!"
Dib it's the truth, and you know it is. You destroyed everything.
That's all i have, I'm gonna finish it on my page when i think of the rest.

That's a Nice way to look at. Not the way I would see their personality's but everyone is free to have their own interpretation.

This is my first time right so it's not the best. The reason i wrote Zim that way is because imagine going through everything he's been through to the point to where he's just a "trophy",i don't think he would be the same. But that's just my opinion on that.
As for Dib, i based him a little after a song i know,some of the lines i thought some lines fit pretty well. In this i see Dib being angry,guilty, and sad all at the same time. And being a kid, it might be hard or confusing trying to understand why you feel this way. Again that's just my opinion.

The state of Zim's corpse doesn't indicate dissection, it indicates mutilation. The only medical incision is in his stomach, but the rest are like gaping holes in the back of the head and entire missing limbs that look like they've been crudely torn off.
So basically it looks like Dib just straight up murdered Zim and then shoved his defiled body in preservative liquid. And that just makes me legit uncomfortable.

Well considering this is a alien, I would assume they would cut open different parts of the body for study including the brain, maybe even hack off parts of the body. In the Series they showed how earth in that world would keep a alien specimen. It showed him with Tubes jammed in him, parts missing like a eye and his arm. The IZ universe is kinda sadistic and not that clean. But idk.
