This is a Detective Conan Image I have wanted to do for a while now, I just didn't want to even attempt it till I got a lil better at drawing anime.
Hopefully it turned out ok for the most part. He isn't dead. Ran, is just sad to discover his secret this way.

If the reveal DOESN'T happen eventually, I think we'll have some irked fans. XD I don't care how it's revealed so long as its done during or before the climax. Cause I swear if she finds out LATER when it no longer matters...xD

As a fan of secrets revealed, they better do it.
But I think all the fans have been dropping heavy hints to the Manga writer. x'D
Give me cool reveal, cause it'd be interesting to see some episodes play out with her knowing 100%. o.o And they could have it in an inopportune moment where he's forced to reveal it. *That's just how I like it, but I'm not too picky*

Well, she has actually known a few times but was waiting to hear it from him personally. I guess things would kinda be really awkward in the show with her fully knowing the love of her life is trapped in the body of a child lol and I think that is another reason why he doesn't want to tell her. He said in a Valentine ep that he didn't want to tell Ran how he felt because he has no idea if he can ever get back to normal and thinks it's selfish of him to keep her hanging on like that.
It's possibly why they gave DC Ai who has shown to have a kinda crush on Shinchi to make a less awkward love story if needed. Besides DC is still doing really,really well all over the world (besides America) The newest movie surpassed all other DC movies at the box office and the anime is still going strong. It's hard to say if they want to end it, but I look forward to whatever spin they wish to throw at us : D

I know she's grown suspicious and Shinichi has had to find many ways to throw her off the trail. XD And I do understand WHY he doesn't want to tell her, which is why I feel he'd have to be pressured into it if it was to ever come out. Though with the temporary shift, it is possible to find a complete fix at the end of the series. *Not that it would change Conan's logic at that stage*

And true, I don't see the awkwardness mainly because I know he's technically 17, but I can see why it'd get a little weird. XD Though I have heard that the writer has the ending planned out, and it just still adding to the middle. I'm thinking they'll hit a thousand episodes before wrapping up? Normally, I would complain, but some of the Anime Original episodes have recently left me a little worried about dragging it on. X'D

Writers always have the ending planned out its just allot of shows don't get to see it happen. The basis for writing most stories if not all is to have a Beginning and ending already in mind, because what happens in the middle is just filler so it can last as long as you want it to.

That first was was absolutely...just...AMAZING! It looks like she's on hiatus or maybe just completely abandoned it. I hope not. I read all the way up to 11 just today I was so hooked.

On archiveofourown she said she was having some health problems. "I haven't abandoned this fic, don't worry. 
Even if I too really want to see what happens next. I'm still happy with what they were able to share. : D I have waited a few years for writers to update before, it's kinda how the fanfic business works you might see a new chapter when you least suspect it.

Well,I did some digging and found out she did fav something in Jul of this year, so I guess she is still lurking around. Our best bet is to show as much love as possible on this site archiveofourown.org/users/Utuk… where she actually responds to people. I was thinking of doing some fan art for it as well, its just too inspiring not to >W<

Oh wow! I was actually thinking of doing fanart of my own as well! I'm literally in a trance right now. I was reading it for hours. I haven't decided the scene yet. I really loved the interactions between Ran and Haibara shortly after the incident especially. If I could conquer my fear of backgrounds, I can do it. xD

And true, though the guy didn't think it would be this long originally. He thought it'd last a few volumes and that'd be that...but then it blew up into a big thing. As much as I love Detective Conan, I want it to end while I love it, instead of watching it get withered into the ground, and never seeing an end. ;w; Though the Manga guy has had to whack animators over the head before for doing silly things with his stuff. XD Like how we meet Haibara's sister. xD
And that makes sense--that's kinda how I tend to write. Have a beginning, and an end, and figure out the middle later. XD So long as the anime original people write good mysteries, *Which they've done up until recently*, it won't really be a problem. The movies are always epic and I'm always excited for the next manga episode~
