two gems i adopted from enviousemisarry ! thank you so much i love them ;v;

these two are massively in love!! they love and support eachother lots!

a little backstory for these two:

Quar (ku-ar, the rose quartz) and Nipper (the lapis) both served Homeworld. Quar was a defective Quartz soldier who served Pink Diamond, whereas Nipper was a terraformer for Blue Diamond. Due to the Diamonds almost always being together, Nipper and Quar became close very quick. They would hang out whenever they had the chance to spend time together.

However when Pink Diamond was shattered, all Rose Quartz were ordered to be bubbled by Yellow Diamond. Quar accepted this fate, and was bubbled. Nipper on the other hand could not understand why they would take her away like that, and therefore grew furious and bitter towards her Diamond.

Nipper unbubbled Quar, and managed to disguise her as a Quartz soldier for around 47 years, but other gems started to catch onto Quar and became suspicious. Fearful, Nipper organised an escape pod to make sure both her and Quar would flee someplace safe - together. However her plan was foiled by an Agate patrolling the escape pod bay that day, she immediately poofed Quar and threatened to shatter her in front of Nipper. Nipper, taking quick action, charged towards the Agate, bubbled Quar and threw her as far as possible into the depths of space, so that at least she was safe.

Nipper was imprisoned by the Agate for a few hundred years. The Agate, not being able to think of a good enough punishment for the traitor, then sentenced the gem to be shattered. Nipper saw this as an opportunity to escape, and managed to steal a Quartz Hand ship when being escorted. Nipper was then able to be free of Homeworld, searching the galaxies for thousands of years for Quar.
