Recently have gotten into Sgt. Keroro recently, a delightfully insane series. I love it... so I had to draw something for it! This took FAR more effort than one would expect, just to say. Not much else to say other than that.((all characters and rights are copyright Mine Yoshizaki))

Huzzah! Welcome to Keroro Gunso XD Seriously, it's friggen hilarious! I'm up to episode 70 of the anime and Kururu and Keroro stand out as my fav characters!

Yes, it is hilarious. I'm not terribly far into it though. Frankly, I've only seen up to Giroro, but so far he's my favorite, if anything because of how insane he is. I keep on wishing that Richard Horvitz, the voice actor who did Invader Zim would voice Sgt. Keroro, as they're very similar XD But I digress, yeah, shockingly, the Keronians are harder to draw than one would think at least in conveying emotion.

I couldn't watch the english dub D| The guy who does Keroro is AWFUL! I was like "I'll stick with Kumiko Watanabe".
Oh gosh,wait till Kururu and Dororo show up XD Kururu is hilariously badass in all and many ways. I recommend giving the movies a shot once you reach about...episode...65+ as I think only one movie has a later series character.
I'm struggling to draw Orikero D| It's a far cry from what I normally draw!

Yeah, I'm anxious to see all the "frogs." I heard Keroro's english voice, as is the case with many dubs, the voice fit the character, the quality was lacking I thought. I'm waiting for MegaCon to get more stuff on the series. And yeah, the art style looks simplistic, but it's actually kind of hard to replicate. It's like the Simpsons. It looks simply, but like, things are done in a very precise manner that if you don't do it right it looks dumb. The main thing is showing expression on their faces, really.
On a side comment, I had a humorous idea. While drawing this, I listening to Makes a Man Out of You from Mulan and I realized how funny and fittign it would be to do something with that, of Giroro training the others for war XD

The only frog I personally don't go a bundle on is Pururu. I caught a glimpse of her in some snippet from youtube and she's very...eh...!
Mine Yoshizaki's style is hard to emulate in any way @_@ I'm personally not used to the lack of neck (hilarious considering I draw Nightmaren) and such. It's a very chibi like style if anything. Expressions is a bitch, no eyebrows D|
Trust me, you will be thinking of fan-orikero sooner or later >>; I said to myself I wouldn't but I now have two up already...it's really really easy to fall into the trap of wanting to make your own platoon XD

Lack of neck? This coming from a NiGHTS fan? XD I understand though, it's odd, because it's the simplicity that makes it hard, actually. You naturally want to add more depth to them and it ends up making them look awkward if you try.
And it may happen. Some of the frogs as is make me think of people I know XD

;_; for shame, this NiGHTS fan admits defeat at the hands of simple frogs! I originally gave them tiny necks but it looked scary o_o; I've been doodling them more recently and I'm getting the hang of it but adding my own flavor so to speak!
