Put in as literally a last minute decision, no. 12 this year goes to not only Dark type Pokemon, but the new Pokemon, Gourgeist!

Now, let me just say that I LOVE Gourgeist! It's very rare that a new generation Pokemon catches my heart so quickly (even before I catch it!) but I have longed for a Jack-o-Lantern Pokemon for years, and this did not disappoint. With the newest game hitting stores only weeks ago, I felt I'd pay homage and as I have added Ghost types in as a whole to my countdown before I felt I needed to let my second favorite type get recognition, represented by that of my favorite Pokemon, Scrafty. The fact that he's already colored for Halloween only makes this better.

Together, both Dark types and Gourgeist rank in as no. 12, as Pokemon X & Y became available on Oct. 12. As said, this was a rather last minute decision... mainly due to the fact that I've gotten behind in days and I noticed I accidentally had a gap in my roster and had to fill a space. Though I'm glad that happened in a way so that these two could be added. As you may have noticed I removed some earlier additions to put these up instead. Even though it's ruined the reveal I'll repost them putting them in higher spots like I originally intended.
