I've been working on this FOREVER. The longest time spent was on the line art. I just couldn't get myself motivated enough to open up Illustrator and clean up the sketch.It's taken me a week or so to color it. It might have taken shorter but I had friends visiting from out of state and we hit the VERY AWESOME The Cure concert at MSG last night...
Which leads me to the title. I basically had End on repeat for 6 hours today while finishing it. Robert Smith I LOVE YOU.
The background was made with 's very cool nebula tutorial. Oh and I took major license with her sword, I wanted to make it look more like an actual weapon that could harm you, but still keep it in the Maho Shoujo style.

Amazing job with all of the details! I love it when her fuku has pearls. :3 You can tell that you spent a lot of time on this and it paid off! The dim colors and shadows work wonderfully dramatic with it. Great work with that background, too!

Schweet, I'll have to look at those later tonight. :-D Btw, you know that "render" light option on Photoshop where you can make a ball of light in your image?? How the heck do you stop the bright green spots from appearing?? Like, the brightness will be perfect, but then it's got sun spots in places I don't want it. I've never seen those in icons and stuff.
