Description I was trying to make the flags of the pony factions from last episode, but I relised that I've forgotten the finer points of of displacement mapping, so that's out the window until I re-learn it.

So instead you get an Art Deco inspired poster for that train in the intros. "Inspired" is the key word here, as the main image is just a screen-cap. I thought about re-drawing the train in a more geometric style, but had two concerns. Firstly, I worried that it might lose all connection to the original train, and not look anything remotely like it. And secondly my complete lack of skill in relation to vectoring. .
I was glancing at a couple of Art Deco posters that I have saved, mainly to keep an eye on the colour pallet. Like I said above, the main image forgoes the Art Deco style, but artistic license and all that.

Cheers!

DO EET! I have faith in you.

I remember this poster from my short time of studying Art Deco, mainly the architecture though. I think it holds the perfect perspective to focus on if you attempt to render a more geometric train.
