Poor Eithne, she's been broken by this, by her lack of understanding and the betrayal. Anju, Sol, her body, her freedom, her identity, she's lost it all in a single day. Guess she'll now be able to relate to Anju in what happens when you lose everything. It may not be as fancy as Anju's, but loss is loss all the same. These were the things that mattered to her.

Be honest about things that are upsetting her without causing a scene, actually listen to other people voicing their own feelings, maybe donβt let her ego allow her to be so easily manipulated

I mean yes of course, but everyone in this story is partially responsible for that escalation. But perhaps something as serious as this is what it took for Eithne to actually make any kind of change.
