Description I finally saw Spirited away a few days ago and was completely blown away.



Attempt to get out of my art stump. I've never really drawn in anime style, but Miyazaki's style is so pretty and delicate.

EDIT: Noooo Chihiro's clothing is off! Oh well.

I haven't seen this movie yet, but I'm going to try to rent it next time I go to Blockbuster. I know they have Howl's Moving Castle (freaking awesome Miyazaki film) so hopefully they'll have Spirited Away

Oh my god it's Spirited Away!!! I love that movie so much! But who wouldn't since its a Hayao Miyazaki film x3 I hope you get to watch his other works as well. They're all amazing.
I like the kind of sketchy-ness of the drawing. It adds a nice effect. I don't know if you meant it like that but I like it. Haku looks so majestic and powerful and Chihiro looks so scared xD The colors are beautiful and as a whole they are very nicely drawn.

I'm rather behind when it comes to Miyazaki. I've only seen this, Howl's Moving Castle, and Ponyo. I really need to just take a week this summer to watch them all.

You should! I really like Nausiica of the Valley of the Wind, and Princess Mononoke. It's funny cuz I actually plan on taking a day or two to watch them all too~!

Incredible movie, Miyazaki is a genius! You did a rather nice job on this too, especially since you've never really drawn in anime style. (: It can be kinda difficult, haha.
