Vector 2, whaddaya know?Nothing really to say here, besides the fact that I like this vectoring business. Ah, if only Adobe Illustrator were free for a bit.
EDIT: Coming back to this almost 4 full years later, I really don't know why my second ever vector here is so popular. Almost makes me want to remake it proper since you can really tell how early in my vectoring I was by looking at this.Β

Well, I mean, it's definitely not my actual vector, especially not this old cruddy version.
I did vector the moment from the first movie, so they could've just had some of the asset artists re-appropriate that pose for that cover.Β

There is a freeware vector art program known as Inkscape: www.inkscape.org/en/
A lot of MLP vector artists use it. In fact there is even an unofficial fork/off-shoot of Inkscape known as "Ponyscape": ponyscape-vectors.deviantart.cβ¦
It's not exactly the same as Illustrator, but it does have most of the same important functions. Since you've already made some vectors in Illustrator you can probably learn how to use Inkscape rather quickly. : )
